The architecture studio Metek was created in 2001 in New York then tranferred to Paris in 2004. The studio is located in Metek’s first built project: a house/studio in Belleville. This work was greatly acclaimed by the press and acknowledged by institutions, including, the Ministry of Culture (nomination Big Public Prize 2004) and the Arsenal Pavillon where it is permanently exhibited.

Metek designs and builds individual and multifamily housing (8 sustainable and affordable apartments in Paris), public buildings (Tourist Information Center, Frejus), develops architectural and urban research (“Brooklyn dérives ”), takes part to open competitions (Europan 9), and is invited to design scenography (“Festival des Architectures Vives”, Montpellier 2008).

Metek is acknowledged by the institutions and the professional press and still committed to work for private clients and to communicate to a large public (Journées d’Architectures à Vivre, presentation of accomplished work to the public , 2000 visitors since 2002).
