3 Locations // 3 Stakes // 1 Concept
This project was designed for a competition organized by Arbocentre, in order to imagine a new concept of flexible and friendly environmental wooden houses between 100 and 120 sqm, for 140000 euros, to be designed on 3 different locations, emphasizing the modularity of the concept and the constructive method.
Our project develops this requirement by creating:
- a bioclimatic wooden house.
- a modulate housing for a higher flexibility of uses and evolutions.
We put forward a general concept of adaptable housing, with a tridimentional prefabricated wooden structure module as a unit (self-supporting panels), and a regular grid in which the functional modules take place according to the location and the owner’s wills. The different units are then covered by a roof shape depending on the city regulation.
