For the third edition of the Architectures Vives Festival, 10 architects or artists were invited to take on interior courtyards in the « Ecusson » in Montpellier around the thematic N [SIDE] OUT.
Our goal is to reveal to the visitors a [blue] rear window: the sky frame created by the mineral façade of clear plaster. The visitor is led in weightlessness, he left the ground reality and his relation to it. He walks in the porch corridor in a wadded universe where the ground seams to disappear under his feet. After this initiatic test, he is naturally led to lay down in the air to dig into the deep sacred and cosmic blue of the sky: he admires a reinterpred work of Miro: Blue II made as a mobile scale 1.
