Coming
in from the street, the visitor walks into the semi-private alleyway
of the Villa de l’Adour, catching a glance of the façade.
The combination of the white coating and the easily made-out metal
framework, gives it a rough, mineral look.
Unexpectedly,
the visitor comes onto the patio, a miniature garden, wrapped by
a white brick wall which gives it a feeling of privacy. Crossing
it lengthwise, he reaches the workshop at the back of which is a
staircase. A flawless strip of rough concrete that leads to the
first floor.
The
rhythmic, stretched and syncopated pace is a consequence of the
spiralling layout of the building.
