| Looking
out onto the street and facing north, the rooms intended as workshops
are high-ceilinged which allows daylight to come in. The living
room areas are on the southern exposed side, facing the garden and
the two lower level duplex benefit from a double-ceiling height.
From a sectional outlook, the discrepancy between the five levels
facing north and the six levels facing south creates an uneven traffic
flow at the heart of the building: the distance from one apartment
to another varies. Moving about turns into a meditative stroll bathed
by the soft light coming in from the inner court.
