- We decided to develop the Olympic Games symbolic values of meeting and elevation of the human being for Paris bid 2012. A vertical walkway leads to five levels of public spaces creating a Vertical Agora.

- The shape of the Vertical Agora is itself symbolic. Situated between the urban fabric of old Paris, the Batignolles square garden and the new park and neighbourhood of the Olympic Games, the project is a synthesis of existing and future urban and vegetal landscape. The vegetal is symbolized by a forest of columns and the urban by the five levels of public spaces. The project fits into a five squares grid in reference to the five continents.
